Welcome to the PS 38 PTA
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I’d like to welcome all our new families into the PS 38 community. We may be a small school but we do a lot for our children! The PTA’s focus is giving back to the children; all monies raised go directly to the school. In June, the PTA was able to present the administration with a $3,000.00 donation. They were able to purchase two programs for the 2017-2018 school years. Without the help and support of our families we would never have been able to do this.
This year we have a few new events we are adding and we’re expanding some of our previous events. We will be selling apparel again this year. On September 13th, we will have a table set up where you can see a sample of the apparel and place an order. If you are unable to attend an order form will be sent home.
Attached is an envelope for PTA dues. Please send it back to school at your earliest convenience. Make sure your child’s name and class are printed on the envelope. The PTA has a Facebook page PS38 Parents (Midland Beach). Please request to join. The purpose of the page is to post event reminders, important information, ask homework questions and general questions about the school.
Thank you for your continued support.
Nicole Ryan, PTA President
